Eternity rings come in different colors, shapes and designs. However, one thing that all eternity rings have in common is their undeniable beauty. One design difference between various Eternity rings is the amount of CZ's or
stones that are on the ring.
- Full Band: With a full band rings, stones or CZ's are found along
the entire band. The purpose of the design is to "hide" as much of
the metal as possible to emphasize the stones.
- 3/4 Band: With 3/4 band rings, stones are placed around 3/4's of
the band. The underside of the ring is where the metal is visible.
Generally, the 3/4 and half design allows for people to re-size their rings.
It isn't uncommon for people to lose or gain weight. With the weight gain
often comes a change in ring size. By having a 3/4 band or half band
eternity ring, a jeweler can re-size the ring. This is of course dependent
on other factors as well such as the type of metal, and design involved.
- Half Band: With half band rings, stones are placed halfway around
the eternity band.
